INVENTORY OF DONATED ITEMS
From time to time, DAC gets donations. Many people do not know we have a basement that we keep the items in. We try to get the equipment out to people, but sometimes we do not know what people may need, so items sit around and collect dust (for years). We have started to limit the kind and amount of donations we get, because some items are just not useful to others. We are now giving donations the “once over” before we accept them. Some of the items listed below are newer and for one reason or another, we have not been able to give them homes, yet.
If you would like to borrow the items, you can for as long as you need them. We ask that if you find yourself not needing the items anymore, to give them back so we can try to get them out to others. We will not take back items that are broken, have pieces missing, or could only be used by one person (if the item is custom-made).

NOTE: The following items are somehow damaged or broken, but are may be usable to at least some extent. DAC will not accept the these items back unless they have been repaired.
4 walkers that need leg extensions
2 bath benches that require assembly
2 older manual wheelchair w/o footrests - non-collapsing
1 wheelchair without legs
Manual Hoyer lift without straps – condition or working? Not known. Use at own risk.
